The Indian cricket team on Wednesday left for their three-day conditioning camp at an isolated location, some 70 km away from Bangalore city.
HT ImageThe players will train at a private farmhouse, belonging to a local businessman K P Prabhu, at Kallukottai village near Doddaballapur.
The training will be conducted by Surjit Singh, a retired Indian Air Force official who also runs an adventure sports academy named Piggasuss.
Singh said the cricketers will undergo some exercise at the remote place in order to improve their mental toughness.
"They will do rock climbing and a little bit exercise which will improve their mental fitness," he told mediapersons.
The players left at 8.15 am and will be back in the city by evening.
