The orders will come into effect from on Saturday (June 9) itself, a press release quoting additional district magistrate Alok Kumar Singh said.

The move came in view of frequent traffic congestions and to maintain law and order in the city, the ADM said.

The organisers of any rally should contact the district magistrate office for rules and regulation, he said, adding actions would be taken on violators under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
