Seers raise temple issue
SOME SEERS once again raised the issue of temple construction at the disputed land in Ayodhya, in a Dharam Sabha, organised here on Friday. The religious meeting, ?Dharam Sabha?, was organised outside the district headquarters under the auspices of Shri Ram Mandir Nirman Uchchadhikar Saint Samiti.The leaders recalled their determination for construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. ?Since the religious sentiments of Hindus are attached with the birthplace of Lord Ram, the temple will definitely be constructed in Ayodhya?, they said.

The religious meeting, ‘Dharam Sabha’, was organised outside the district headquarters under the auspices of Shri Ram Mandir Nirman Uchchadhikar Saint Samiti.
The leaders recalled their determination for construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. “Since the religious sentiments of Hindus are attached with the birthplace of Lord Ram, the temple will definitely be constructed in Ayodhya”, they said.
They said the temple construction work would be held by Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Nyas and the stones specially carved for the purpose would be used in the construction work.
Speaking on the occasion, the central secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Vinayak Deshpandey said that ‘Ram Janmbhoomi Nirman’ movement was not an issue of a Hindu community but was related with the pride and identity of India.
Citing the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the re-construction of Somnath temple, he said that Hindu religious leaders should play a similar role in the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
He said that only those saints and sadhus who were leading and participating in the temple movement for the last 22 years have a right to construct Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Presiding over the religious meeting, the chief priest of famous Annapurna Temple, Rameshwarpuri said that there was need for political will for the construction of Ram temple.
Other speakers including VHP leader Jawahar Lal, Shiv Kumar Shukla, Rahi Baba, Mahatma Mohan Das Ji Maharaj addressed the meeting and called upon people to be prepared for a mass movement to construct the temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
Later, a five-point resolution was unanimously passed in the religious meeting.
