Currently, women above 55 years are eligible for the concessional bus travel in the roadways buses.
Hooda made the announcement at a state-level function on International Day of Elderly Persons at National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) here.

The chief minister also announced to provide free calcium supplements to women above 55 years. "It is commonly seen that women face acute bone-related problems after the age of 55 and this is attributed to low-calcium levels. Now, the state government will provide free supplements to ensure good health of the elderly women," he said.
