Udyati, a resident of Sector 29, who went to Javed Habib's hair Xpresso along with her mother on Thursday, could not get her hair cut there. The staff at the kiosk allegedly refused to provide their service to the autistic child. The girl's mother, Sonia Jaitley, complained about the alleged denial of the service to the management of the salon. On Saturday, DK Jain, the franchisee of Xpresso at the mall, tendered apology to the girl's mother.
"We have told Jaitley, a therapist, to hold an orientation for our staff on Monday or Tuesday," Jain told HT. He, however, said the staff had not denied service to the girl, but only asked her to go to upper floor shop which is better equipped.
