The police added that they swooped on the guest house after they received a tip-off from a local resident about an illegal sex trade being carried out from there. Later, the police produced all the arrested women before a duty magistrate, who sent them to 14-day judicial custody. A case was registered against the pimp and the guest house owner. The racket was operating from the guest house in Block N of DLF City-2.

The police first sent two decoy customers to the guest house. The pimp, Aryan, demanded Rs 10,000 for a girl and the decoy customers handed over about Rs 5,000 to him. The arrested persons are identified as Yelena Troyonke, the Russian national, Rama, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, Shiela, a Delhi resident, Annu from Arunachal Pradesh and Shammi, the receptionist.

According to the police, the women were in the flesh trade for many years. The police team included four women constables. “The owner of the guest house is absconding. We will soon arrest him,” said the police.
