In a shocking and beastly act, a man allegedly raped his own seven-year-old daughter in Kashmiri Mohalla in Lucknow.
According to an FIR filed by Shabnam (the grandmother), Maroof, father of the child came to her residence four days back and promised that he would look after his daughter well and would not beat her.
When Maroof took her away, the in-laws did not suspect any foul play. But, when the old lady visited Maroof's house to find out how her granddaughter was, she was shocked to know from the little girl the gory details of rape.
Maroof's wife said that she did not suspect any such thing when Maroof asked the girl to scrub his body while taking a bath. When she woke up in the morning, she saw the girl bleeding and weeping.
Maroof allegedly threatened to strangulate when she tried to raise an alarm. After raping her, Maroof escaped. The doctors have confirmed rape on the seven-year-old child.
The Sadaatganj police have registered a case of incest against Maroof. The police to nab the criminal father have launched a manhunt.
