The Jharkhand girl was shown the door by Amy Oliver of Great Britain.
The 18-year-old's loss completes India's misery in the Games where four of the six-member contingent of archers fell flat in the first individual round. Both the men's and women's teams also fell at the opening first hurdle.
Already out of medal contention, rower Swarn Singh finished second in a minor placings race in single sculls while Sandeep Kumar and Manjeet
Singh fought to save themselves from ending bottom of the heap in lightweight double sculls.
