Six persons were apprehended by forest officials and two leopard skins seized from them in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district.

Acting on a tip-off, forest officials conducted a raid at Nandprayag area in the district and apprehended the six poachers, officials said.
During interrogation, the men said they had come to Nandprayag for selling the leopard skins to a person. The six were booked under Wildlife Protection Act, the officials said, adding that efforts are on to nab the person to whom the leopard skins were to be delivered.
