Six people run over by Shatabdi Express in West Bengal

Six persons, including two children, were mowed down by New Jalpaiguri-Howrah Shatabdi Express in Malda district on Friday.
Superintendent of police Prasun Bandyopadhyay said the victims were crossing the tracks at around 7am when they were mowed down by the speeding train.
The incident occurred near Baroduari under Harischandrapur police station, around 90 km from the district headquarter, the SP said.
