Municipal commissioner Gaya Prasad had recommended for the suspension of deputy sanitary inspector Hari Shankar whom Sushil Yadav wanted to get transferred in another ward. A probe is being conducted to take further action against some other employees.

It may be recalled that corporator Sushil Yadav was arrested on Wednesday following the intervention of Allahabad High Court in the case of slapping of Nagar Nigam Health Officer Dr PK Singh in his office on Monday.

Taking a strong exception to the incident, Justice AK Yog called the Municipal Commissioner Gaya Prasad and Health Officer PK Singh in his chamber on Wednesday morning and inquired about the entire incident. He wanted to know the reasons from the police officers of not taking action so far. He ordered the police to comply with his order by arresting him.
