Slight intensity quake shakes Haryana

The quake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale hit Sonepat in Haryana in the wee hours.

A slight intensity earthquake, measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale, hit Sonepat in Haryana in the wee hours of Saturday, the Meteorological Department said.

The quake occurred at 0027 hours and was epicentred at 29.0 degree North latitude and 77.0 degree East longitude, it said.
