"We would be very happy to have the entire team at the awards. We are still in the process to organise the paperwork for the children," a source from production house Fox Searchlight Pictures told

PTI.



Azharuddin and Rubina, who play young Salim and Latika in the Danny Boyle film, are also excited for the trip, the source said. "Their parents would be accompanying them as well," the source said. Earlier there were some reports that their parents were not keen on sending them to the Oscars and instead demanded money.

shows the extraordinary tale of Mumbai slumdweller Jamal and depicts his life from childhood to adulthood. Nine actors were used to portray the various stages of Jamal, Salim and Latika.

Azharuddin, 10, and Rubina, 9, were discovered by casting director Loveleen Tandon.
