Bal Thackarey's daughter-in-law Smita Thackarey expresses interest in joining politics.

Making perhaps her first political appearance with Shiv Sena leaders in years, party supremo Bal Thackarey's daughter-in-law Smita Thackarey on Wednesday expressed interest in joining politics.

"I really don't know what my future is, but definitely I am interested in politics," she told a news channel after a visit to the Siddhi Vinayak temple in Mumbai where the Shiv Sena held a rally against farmer's suicides.

"I was quite impressed with the issues Uddhav and Shiv Sena have taken up," he said.
