Smoke in AC 2-tier coach of Bangalore express

An AC 2-tier coach of the Bangalore-Guwahati Express train was replaced after smoke was noticed beneath it as the train was passing through the Baruipara station on Eastern Railway's Howrah-Bardhaman line today, railway sources said.

An AC 2-tier coach of the Bangalore-Guwahati Express train was replaced after smoke was noticed beneath it as the train was passing through the Baruipara station on Eastern Railway's Howrah-Bardhaman line on Friday, railway sources said.

The train was immediately stopped and the guard used the fire extinguisher to control the smoke.

All the passengers of the AC 2-tier coach were shifted to a new coach before the train left the station.
