Yes, the civic agency would be making a trial run of the service beginning Wednesday, ahead of its scheduled plan to introduce the facility with the lottery draws for Vinayak and Vibhor Khand Scheme of Gomti Nagar extension.

“As a test run of the service, we have made available results of the July 17 lottery draw for Mansarovar housing scheme of the LDA on Kanpur Road to our applicants,” said an LDA official.

All that a person, who has applied under the scheme, needs to do to get the required information is to type LDA1M followed by his application form number (without any spaces) and send it to 4242. The lottery draw for 691 houses, 407 under two-room category and 284 one room set, was held by the LDA on Monday, which netted an income of Rs 26.83 crore from their sale.

Depending on the public response, LDA intends to make available several other services available to its customers too.

“Once the lottery draw is over, a large number of unsuccessful candidates face problem seeking refund of their registration money. Very soon, we are going to provide them the information related to the status of their refund on SMS,” said the official.
