The boy’s parents are said to be satisfied with the medical report that did not establish sodomy charges, police said. Earlier, the parents had trashed the report terming it “bogus”.

The family, which lives in DLF City Phase-3, could not be contacted for comment despite repeated attempts.

DCP (west) Dr Abhey Rao said, “The parents of the boy approached the Sector-14 police station on Monday and submitted a written statement saying they did not want further investigation in the case. They have also expressed satisfaction over the medical report. We will now carry out the required formalities to close the case.”

On Saturday, the Class 10 student had claimed he was kidnapped by four men in a black Maruti Alto from outside his school in Sector 14 and dumped after being sexually assaulted.

Doctors at the civil hospital claimed no internal or external injuries were found on the boy's body to prove assault.
