Sonali, Aditi bag gold medals in taekwondo

SONALI MEHRA, Aditi Sharma, Priyanka, Chanda, Rekha, Vibha, Sonu and Puja won gold medals in the 13th Indore District-level Taekwondo Championship organised under the aegis of Lakshya Taekwondo and Yoga Kendra recently.

Deepika, Ravina, Sandhya, Anita, Renuka, Barkha, Komal, Ranjana and Vaishali bagged silver medals in the championship. Anshu Sharma, Sheetan, Tina, Pinky and Divya secured bronze medals. Lakshya Taekwondo and Yoga Kendra team finished second.

Mishra to lead varsity team

DHIRENDRA MISHRA of M B Khalsa College was appointed captain of the University handball team that would participate in inter-varsity (south western region) handball tournament (men’s) organised by Annamalai University from January 19.

The other players of the team are Samir Kaji (IK College Indore), Lalit Prajapat (M B Khalsa Indore), Mukesh Rathore (DAVV), Ranbir Singh (IK College), Arjun Singh Lamba (M B Khalsa), M Zuber Khan (Mhow), Chandra Shekhar (M B Khalsa), Rashmit Singh Gandhi (MRSC Indore), Chetan Prajapat (M B Khalsa), Dhirendra Mandli (DAVV) and Yogesh Patidar (Government College Dhamnod).
