"He (Shibu Soren) will undergo treatment in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). We brought him here after he complained of urinary problems and fever," the former Chief Minister's son, Hemant Soren told PTI.
Before he was flown in to Delhi on Sunday, Soren was earlier admitted to Abdur Razzaq Memorial Weavers Hospital in Ranchi on Friday with urinary tract infection and cardiological problem.
Earlier in the day, the air-ambulance carrying ailing Soren from Ranchi to New Delhi had to return to Ranchi airport from mid-air to take an extra oxygen cylinder.
The aircraft once again took off for New Delhi after the additional oxygen cylinder was loaded on the flight, Public Relations Officer Javed Akhtar of Abdur Razzaq Memorial Weavers Hospital told reporters in Ranchi.
Director of Birsa Munda airport, AV Krishnan, confirmed the mid-air return.
