Soren to appear before Giridih court today

According to jail sources, Soren left for Giridih morning to appear before the court in connection with 1974 Kurko murder case. The case relates to the murder of some people over killing of a goat at Kurko in Giridih district.

Soren, acquitted by the Delhi High court in the case relating to murder of his private secretary, was made an accused in the Kurko case.

The former union minster, who could not be released from the Dumka central jail yesterday following a technical hitch in his release order, is expected to come out of jail by this evening, Soren's aide Krishna Singh said.
