Addressing a "Sankalp Diwas" function on Thursday Yadav said that workers should take oath to consolidate the party and fight for change in the state.
The SP workers organized conference all over the state to chalk out action plan for 2010. The occasion also marked the death anniversary of socialist leader Jai Prakash Narain. Yadav said youth should come forward to improve the situation.
The SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhury assailed the BSP government of failing on all fronts in 2009. Chaudhury said while developmental activities had come to standstill, there had been massive rise in crime in the state.
He said 2009 was bad year for the people of the state because the government totally failed to provide any type of welfare scheme to them. He said the struggle against BSP government would continue 2010.
Similarly the BJP also criticized the government for it's all round failure during the year. The party vice president and spokesman Hirdaynarain Dixit said the year was "unfortunate" for the people. He said "administrative terrorism" had assumed serious dimension in 2009 that led to rampant corruption.
