'SP, NDA have no understanding'

Accusing the BJP of spreading rumours, SP leader Amar Singh denied that there was any understanding between the two.

Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh has denied that there was any understanding between National Democratic Alliance and his party and accused the BJP of trying to mislead the electorate by allegedly spreading baseless rumours.

"Baseless allegations are being spread to malign our party's image. We want to tell the people that there is no truck between the SP and the BJP," he said while addressing a party rally here yesterday.

Ridiculing the "feel good" slogan of the BJP, he said people would not be lured by the "jugglery of figures".
