THE SAMAJWADI Party today organised statewide demonstrations against the Congress-led UPA Government on the Iran issue. Party workers assembled at district headquarters all over the State to protest against India’s vote against Iran at the IAEA meeting.

In Lucknow, city unit of the party led by Ashok Yadav and Mujibur-Rehman organised demonstration. Addressing the gathering, SP MP Bhagwati Singh assailed the Central Government for surrendering before the US on the issue. Singh said the UPA Government should reconsider itsstand on the issue at the next meeting of the IAEA on March 6.
