Giving this information to mediapersons here on Friday, secretary of Sant Nirankari Mandal Khemraj Chadha said that Nirankari Baba Hardev Singhji Maharaj will preach the followers in the two-day convention.
Besides Baba Hardevji Maharaj, Nirankari Raj Mata Kulwant Kaur and other pracharaks of the mandal will also speak on the occasion, he said.
Khemraj Chandha, who is also member incharge of foreign affairs and conventions of Mandal, said more than 2 lakh followers and devotees were likely to attend the convention.
He added that Mandal has made the accommodation facilities for two lakh devotees from different parts of the country, who were likely to participate in the convention.
Highlighting the history of Sant Nirankari Mission, he said that the mission had been formally established at Peshawar in Pakistan on May 25, 1929. “After this, it was established in India by Baba Avtar Singh in year 1948,” he said.
Chadha said, the Nirakari Mission under the leadership of Baba Hardev Singhji Maharaj was getting popularity worldwide since 1980. He further informed that more than hundred centres of Narankari Mandal have been established across the country whereas several centers were working overseas including America, England, Canada, Australia etc.
He said that apart from this, Sant Nirankari Mandal has been conducting several social welfare works like blood donation camps, eye treatment and operation camps across the country.
The volunteers of Sant Nirankari Mandal also actively participated in blood donation for the victims of bomb blasts, he added.
