State finance minister KM Mani said the decision was taken in the wake of Sreesanth's arrest for alleged spot- fixing.

"With the case now being registered, it has been decided to drop the advertisement that features Sreesanth," Mani said.

Sreesanth, along with two fellow Rajasthan Royals players, was arrested Wednesday from Mumbai by Delhi Police for their alleged role in spot-fixing certain matches in the present edition of the ongoing T20 league for huge sums of money.

Sreesanth, who is only the second Keralite to represent the country, has played in 27 Tests taking 87 wickets, 53 ODIs (75 wickets) and 10 T20s (seven wickets).
