He claims to be the King Khan of celluloid. But when it comes to love and relationships, he prefers taking a back seat. Catch Shah Rukh Khan in a tête-à-tête with HTTabloid.

What is your personal take on infidelity?
I don't have any stand on it because I believe that it varies from one individual to another. I can't call those people wrong who are very much in favour of infidelity and are unfaithful. It's up to an individual what kind of relationships he prefers to have.

You vibe very well with Kajol and Rani Mukherjee but Priety Zinta too has become one of your bosom buddies, which was not the case earlier. What has changed the equation between the two of you?
I have worked with Preity in Dil Se and later in Kal Ho Na Ho. But there was a big time gap between the two films. I haven't got much work with her besides that. And now Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna happened. We had enough time to interact with each other so we have become close. Friendship needs constant interaction and ample time to develop.

In KANK, who do you rate a better actress - Rani Mukherjee or Priety Zinta?
I think I feel proud of both of them as my co-actresses. Both are just amazing performers. They have matured and maintained a respectable place in the industry. Both of them are just mind-blowing.

Do you think remake of a super hit film like Don is much more challenging than any other film?
This is absolutely true. When you remake a film from some other language, it's easier because viewers are not familiar with the plot, story and other details of the film. But when you remake a film like Don, which has been a blockbuster, it becomes very challenging for everyone from the director's team, because you have to generate similar amount of curiosity and entertainment among the viewers.
