Parking On Weekdays/Weekends: Park at Turkman Gate and then take a rickshaw. Note that the traffic at Turkman Gate is chaotic. The 50-year-old shop is better-known as Lyallpur Waale than as Standard Sweets. Lyallpur may be in Pakistan now, but people who frequent Chawri Bazaar go to this shop for a trip down the nostalgia lane. The shop is famous for its breakfast offerings - Poori Chhole (Rs 14), Chana Bhatura (Rs 16) and Paneer Pakora (Rs 5) - and sweetmeats made with desi ghee.
