Artist and former Miss India Anjana Kuthiala and actor Arjun Rampal will attend the event. The proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

“The essence of my work has always been India. But Japan's tragedy has changed my thinking. Now I explore beauty (in art) outside our country as well,” says Kuthiala, whose three paintings will be auctioned at the event.

Rampal will come with his family. "I wanted to help Japan but didn't know how. Now I immediately agreed when the organisers contacted me," he says. He is considering auctioning some valuables to raise funds. “We wanted to do something for the expat community, and we decided to give the venue and the production arrangement free of cost to the NGO,” says Viraf Sarkari, director, Kingdom of Dreams.

The event will end with a special Japanese and Indian cuisine dinner from Sakura and Chutney restaurant.

Arjun Rampal comes

Rampal is excited about coming to Gurgaon. “I will try to bring my children to see all the happening places in the city. My kids are also keen to see the venue. Who knows, I may open my next lounge bar in Gurgaon,” he says.
