The start of Saddam Hussein's trial was delayed on Wednesday due to "procedural issues", a courtroom source told the agency.

Earlier, Saddam's chief counsel Khalil al-Dulaimi said the defence team would not attend Wednesday's session, or any future hearings, unless the new chief judge, Raouf Abdel Rahman, resigned.
They accuse Rahman, a Kurd, of bias and say the US- sponsored court is illegitimate.
