Yadav was delivering his views at a dharna of the council at the divisional commissioner’s office in support of the employees’ demands.
He demanded that the State employees should be provided house rent and other facilities as per the employees of the Union government.
He condemned the government for withdrawing various facilities to the State government employees, including relaxation in trade tax and demanded that curtailing the strength of the employees be stopped.
Voicing their resentment at the proposed new pension scheme, the employees said the old system should be continued and the services of master roll and daily wage employees should be regularised. They recalled that the dharna was organised on August 4 at the district magistrate’s office and a memorandum was sent to the government but it fail to have any impact.
