Caroline Gonzalez, an 11-year-old fan of the 'Baby' hitmaker, won a contest to be named "mayor for a day" in the city of Forney, and her first executive decision was honouring her idol, reported MTV online.

The sign cost just $ 20 and replaced the old one that hung on Main Street on Tuesday.

Speaking of her decision to dedicate a street to the teen idol, Gonzalez said, "I just really like Justin Bieber, and I thought it would be cool if we had a street in our town named after him."

"I thought it was pretty cool, and if Justin Bieber was actually here, I'd probably faint," she added.
