Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda’s involvement in the Rs 4,000 crore scam is yet another blot on the political history of the country. Koda’s act proved that some politicians are completely bereft of morals or scruples when material gain is in sight. They exploit their office and high position to manoeuvre the law to suit their convenience. One wonders how many Kodas are out there perpetrating crimes under the garb of being the people’s representative.
