Three cases of suicide by Indians in Bahrain this month is a major reason for concern, Indian ambassador to the country said.

Last Sunday, a man of Indian origin was found hanging at the Commerce Towers in Manama, while a day earlier a salesman identified as Hamza Maheen jumped from a pedestrian bridge near the Inter Continental Bahrain hotel there.
Ashok Kumar, a father of two, was also found dead in his apartment on January 3, 2007.
"It is a matter of some concern and we need to handle it and not ignore it," Indian ambassador Balkrishna Shetty was quoted as saying in Gulf Daily News.
"Some of those who committed suicide were not low wage workers and had good jobs," he said.
In November last year, the Indian embassy had announced that 72 counsellors would be available to help people in the country's labour camps and workplaces.
