The children shared their innocent thoughts with the elderly people. They recited rhymes, sang songs and cracked joked and distributed fruits and sweets among the inmates. In return, they got lots of blessings. The kids left the old age home with the promise to meet again.

The elderly people of Aasra said the children’s visit made them feel like their own families have visited them. A spokesman of the school said the visit was also aimed to create a feeling among children that when they grow old they should not lose heart and should attempt to live a better life.
