I am lying on the bed
Trying hard, very hard to sleep
But there is something that is preventing me
Something dark, gloomy and unknown
I can feel its breath upon my neck,
I can sense it, but I am unable to see it
I can feel it creeping
Creeping on my legs
Approaching my neck, wanting to cause
Some harm. My legs are trembling, my lips are cold,
I feel like a corpse, lifeless and dead
Unable to understand
That whether it is a ghost or
My wild imagination.
Something to get scared of
Or to be happy about
Though I am unsure of its nature
But I am sure of its presence,
I am sure it is there,
Somewhere around me, somewhere inside me
