Surfer's say: Teens' dressing style

Today teens try to act cool by wearing wacky or funky clothes but end up looking wannabes, writes Karan Talwar, New Delhi.

Nowadays, many boys in the age group 13-18 have started wearing a lot of hip-hop clothing. Hip-hop clothing is what mainly rappers and hip hop artists wear.

It is a style but nearly all of these school-going boys wear it to show that they are 'cool'. Some boys wear fan t-shirts of the artists without knowing what these people are famous for and what they do.

Baggy Jeans, Long T-Shirts, chains, goodies. There is a huge list. The teen boys now are reluctant to wear proper clothing for parties and formal gatherings and still want to wear those shabby clothes.

These boys in my view are wannabes who try to act cool by all this. In my view it is ridiculous.
