Talent management summit in Oct

DNL Global, Human Capital Institute, will be holding a "Virtual Globalisation" talent management summit in B'lore.

Dallas-based DNL Global, a human capital firm along with Human Capital Institute, will be holding a "Virtual Globalisation" Talent Management Summit at Bangalore in October.

The forum aims at mutual exchange in defining the relationship between human capital excellence and economic productivity in the globalisation era, a company statement said.

The summit will bring together the great values, practices and wisdom of Indian management and educational institutions, with the best talent management practices of their western counterparts.

According to Allan Schweyer, Executive Director, Human Capital Institute "winning organisations already have a global workforce strategy in place or rapidly forming one. They are creating relationships with universities, global partners and directly with worldwide talent now."

"Offshore outsourcing is becoming less about tapping labour for cost advantages and more about finding and leveraging best talent wherever it resides," he said.

Schweyer and DNL representatives will travel to India later this month to meet some Indian and American companies and educational institutions and select participants for the event.
