Well-known Tamil writer Stella Bruce commits suicide by hanging himself at his house in Chennai.

Well- known Tamil writer Stella Bruce on Saturday committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Kodambakkam in Chennai, police said.

A suicide note left by him said he had resorted to the extreme step as he was upset over the death of his wife, Hema, who died last year due to ill health, police said.

Ram Mohan (67), whose pen name is Stella Bruce, wrote many short stories, articles and novels including the famous Adu oru Nilakaalam.
