A SIX-MEMBER delegation led by Tata Motors Managing Director Ravikant met State Chief Secretary N C Bajpai at his office in the State capital on Tuesday.

A SIX-MEMBER delegation led by Tata Motors Managing Director Ravikant met State Chief Secretary N C Bajpai at his office in the State capital on Tuesday.

Ravikant, during his meeting with the chief secretary discussed the proposed expansion plans of Tata Motors’ Lucknow unit in the State capital.

The chief secretary on his part informed the delegation about the various decisions taken by the State cabinet relating to inviting fresh industrial investment in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.

Ravikant later informed senior government officials about the scheduled meeting of the delegation led by him with Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday in the State capital.

Senior officials present in the meeting were, Industrial Development Commissioner Atul Gupta, PICUP Managing Director Deepak Singhal, executive director Udyog Bandhu Narendra Bhushan besides senior officials of Tata Motors who were part of the delegation.
