West Indian pacer Jerome Taylor is on a high after becoming the first-ever Caribbean bowler to secure a hat-trick in one-day cricket, and that too against World Cup champions Australia.

However, the 22-year-old Jamaican also seems to have his feet firmly on the ground as he attributes his success story to following the basic grammar of bowling - maintaining the right line and length.

"Bowling to a regulation line and length is very important," said the right-arm quick bowler when asked to spell out his recipe for success on Indian wickets.

Taylor had polished off the Australian innings by plotting the dismissals of Mike Hussey, Brett Lee and Brad Hogg off successive balls stretching across two overs to record the maiden hat-trick in the history of the ICC Champions Trophy earlier this week and enable West Indies pull off a stunning upset.

"I am delighted with the way I am bowling. I am in top form. It's great to do so well in such an important tournament," Taylor said.
