Teacher apologises for molesting Class-10 girl
A teacher allegedly molested a Class-10 student of Government Senior Secondary School of Pakkashaheedan village, which falls under the Kalanwali police station, of the district on Saturday. But when the village panchayat and the girl's relatives reached the school, he apologised.

Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Faggu village of the district, is a social science teacher at the school and had asked the girl to give him a glass of water in the staff room. When the girl did not return to the class, her friends reached the staff room and saw the teacher allegedly molesting her.
When Manjeet Singh and other members of the village panchayat reached the school, the teacher apologised. However, school principal Vikramjeet Singh refused to comment on the issue.
