He called upon the teachers to maintained solidarity, as the existence of teachers’ association would automatically come under scanner due to neglecting attitude of the government towards education.
Rai was delivering his views at the regional conference of UP Teachers’ Association at DB Inter College.
He highlighted the achievement of the association and said it was only due to unity shown by the teachers that the government heeded to the demands of teachers association.
Expressing his views on this occasion, MLC Dr YD Singh called upon the teachers to maintain their dignity for which they are known and said serious challenges have emerged before the educational sector.
Former MLC Ravindra Nath Mishra and district unit president Markandey Singh along with others highlighted the struggle of state president of the association Omprakash Sharma and Panchanan Rai for ensuring equal pay scale at par with the central government employees.
