Teachers, BSA meet fails to yield results

With the failure of talks to find out any solution to their problems, the teachers decided to launch a massive agitation against the BSA.The teachers launched a round-the-clock dharna at the BSA office, and state president of the association Abhimanyu Prasad headed the dharna. It is notable that primary teachers have launched a dharna from November 8, demanding that the teachers should be transferred after being promoted.

However, their dharna they failed to invite the attention of the education and the district officials. District unit president of the association Bhartiraj Ram Tripathi criticised the BSA for violating the government orders and guidelines for transferring the teachers from one school to another. They alleged that various irregularities came to light during the transfer.

Earlier, the BSA avoided attending office in view of continuous dharna but on Thursday he was brought to the office under heavy security. State president of the Teachers’ Association Abhimanyu Tiwari started the negotiation and demanded that the salary of the teachers, stopped by BSA, should be released.
