The bastman drove straight from Begumpet Airport to his hotel room and refused to speak to media.

The star-studded high voltage Duleep Trophy between West Zone and South Zone, led by Rahul Dravid, would also serve as a testing ground for the venue for hosting internationals in the days to come.

"Most of the West Zone players have come. Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble will come later," a Hyderabad Cricket Assocaition (HCA) official said.

The practice schedule, the official said, was not yet finalised and it was for the respective team managements to decide as the ground was free and available.
