The latest halt of HT City Fresh On Campus at Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences had students partying till late in the day With boys dressed in smart formals and girls sporting fabulous one piece dresses — HT City’s Fresh on campus party at Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences (JIMS) was nothing less than a fashion parade.
The event, which took place at Crowne Plaza, Rohini, saw freshers actively participating and supporting their friends for all the competitions. The party kickstarted with DJ Sumit Sethi randomly choosing 10 boys to compete against each other in the Tata Nano Coolest Fresher contest. After two rounds of introduction and dance, Rahat Jham, a first year student, was declared the winner.
Another highlight of this event was the Veet Diva of the Day contest. The 15 girl participants of this contest had to undergo three rigorous rounds — introduction, talent and Q&A. In the end, Priyanka Sharma, who won many hearts with her cool dance moves, was declared the winner. The first and the second runners-up were Vishakha Saluja and Farheen Siddiqui. The event ended with a jam session by DJ Mukul where he played the latest Bollywood tracks.
