In the film, Om plays the central character of Shiva who is forced to join the profession of a hangman, which his father and forefathers were born into. Shiva executes more than a hundred men in his long career.

Most of the people around him detest him as a result of which he is forced to live a lonely life. His only hope is his son Ganesh (Shreyas Talpade) and Shiva sends him away for higher studies. Ganesh fulfils his father's dream and becomes a teacher and lives a respectable life.

As luck would have it, an accident takes place and plagues Shiva's life again. He prepares for a hanging but this one would prove to be like none of the hundred, which he had performed before.

Produced by Akshar Media Productions, the film also features Gulshan Grover, Smita Jaykar and Tom Alter.

Om is one of he best actors in the filmdom and Shreyas also proved his mettle with Iqbal. It should be great to watch these two artists together in such an intense movie.
