The Indian market may be flooded with stress-busters and self-help books, but that has not prevented a Kiwi doctor from 'fishing in' and the solution he offers is simple: rather than being stressful or angry, just think of other things than what your instinct makes you think of.

The New Zealander is Dr Tom Mullholland, a talk-show host and author, who has come all the way to India to release his new book 'The Power of Healthy Thinking'.

The book offers new 10 ways of healthy thinking which promise to increase one's productivity by acting as antidotes to the factors which create stress in different situations. Mulholland says, "Our mind is a software and brain acts as a hardware..Often when we are under stress, our software goes corrupt. That's when we have to install a new software by the way of thinking healthy. If you think over a negative thought again and again, it takes more hard drive space."

The author claims the readers would be amazed to see how simple the book is. He has put in his specific suggestions in straight sentences, like "It is not what happens to you, but how you deal with it, that counts", "Stress is born, lives and dies between your ears", etc.
