Groovy music, exciting contests and cultural performances made the freshers’ bash at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce a fun affair.
After giving the fucchas fabulous fresher parties in various colleges across the city, HT City Fresh on Campus reached Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce in Pitampura, on Friday.
DJ Rahul kick-started the event by belting out latest Bollywood numbers followed by high-energy bhangra beats. The seniors also put up a grand show, comprised of power-packed dance and music performances. Misba, the college’s dance society, and Surveen, the music society, enthralled the newbies with their stupendous acts. “It was an awesome event,” said Radhika Monga, a first year student of BSc (Hons).
Other highlights of the day included the T-shirt design contest, where students were asked to draw their thoughts on Delhi's completion of 100 years as the Capital, and the Diva of the Day competition that was won by Sahib Kaur.
