The spiritual quotient test-V

Stage V changes a person's attitude. He must make a firm and determined pact with his higher self.

Till Stage IV, a human experiences the ups and downs of the roller coaster ride into higher vibrations. One day he feels all there, and right up with God, with nothing to part them, and another day he wonders where his connection to God has disappeared. The reason for this is that the human has not yet committed himself fully to the path of mastery. He is still wavering because he is unsure that he can achieve his goal. He feels unworthy of such a high level of commitment, and does not have the confidence in himself to work with dedication and constancy.

Stage V changes his attitude. He now must make a firm and determined pact with his higher self, an unwavering decision to stick to the path of mastery, whatever the obstacles. He has faith that if God has sent obstacles in his path, then it is so for a reason. They are to be understood as a challenge to overcome, and the divine strength and wisdom must follow the challenge.
He feels so drawn to his pathway to God, that he finds himself thinking about it in all his free moments. It becomes an obsession, and he finds himself behaving like a young adolescent, who has learnt of the first stirrings of love, that he never knew existed.

His path is now strewn with so much synchronicity of beautiful events, that he is ever grateful, for God seems to have taken charge of his life. The reality is, however, that his intent to follow his path to God has produced the desired result. For when we chose our path, it is the path’s energy that pulls us along, without our being aware of it.

He is always marveling at God’s beneficience, and gratitude and appreciation pour forth at every moment. These feelings produce such a peace and well being within his body that his health improves, and all his aches and ailments miraculously disappear.

The miracles appear, not as surprising events, but as a natural outpicturing of his elevated consciousness. There is a word of caution to be taken note of at this level. This human must make sure that he keeps himself psychically protected, through strong invocation and prayer, from the negative influences of the collective consciousness around him. It is very easy to fall prey to all the old patterns of living, when one is still living under the same circumstances. A feeling of detachment must be cultivated. The soul must now be made a ‘witness’ to all events, rather like an over-seer, who is not personally reacting to circumstances, but watches with detachment.

The temptation to get involved in the usual emotional battles is awfully compelling, and must be avoided at all costs. All further progress along the path of mastery now depends on the strength and ability of the soul to achieve this particular quality.

He must affirm, “Fear and unbelief, which have bound my will, have been caught and turned aside. I am a master being, all elements hear my voice, and obey my command. And so it is!”
