On top one day and completely down in a matter of two days. That is the story of Pakistan cricket. What a show they put up against the Indians the other day, only to collapse in a heap against the West Indies. I was actually looking forward to an exciting contest but it turned out to be a complete anti-climax.

I have raked my brains to come up with one but I am afraid it is beyond me. Let us just say that the decision to bat in obviously bowling-friendly conditions was bewildering, more so given the fact that in recent times a lot of the West Indies wins have come when they have chased a target.
Having said that, Pakistan did manage to go past 50 without losing too many wickets only for one superb piece of fielding to turn the game the Windies way.
